Holy crap I'm never doing that again. I went to Wal Mart at 3 p.m., on a thursday to get a few sundries, what a zoo! Old people, fat people, slow people, gross people, more than usual, even for a Saturaday. When it was my turn I asked the sales girl if it was a typical thursday afternoon. Oh no, she said, it's the first of the month. Half of those people must have been on SS or disability. They must be living paycheck to paycheck too. Checks, voucers, pay cards, receipts, I've never seen it that slow.
I'm still reeling from that experience, OMG! I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing that pathetic crush of humanity and been the happier for it. Nature is being denied her due. When the weak aren't culled the entire herd eventually suffers, and suffer it will.
I don't know if WLT has a sense of humor even though they wrote Hahaha.. like that. From the profile:
