Hope the moving is going ok!
it is going okay except we are moving to an apartment instead of the house we looked at. after closer insoection it needed more work than I thought. The house was ten years old and it looks like no-one has lifted a finger on it in all that time. my house that I'm selling is 40 years old and more livable than that.
Yeah houses are a lot of upkeep to have them in nice shape...
Apartments are good... let someone do the upkeep!

Some good friends of mine were there when it happened.
Luckily their daughter was in Korea.
From aerial photos, their house is miraculously still standing, but may deemed structurally unsafe or some such thing so they have no idea when they can go home again - if ever.
